COMPASS
COMPASS is a comprehensive, un-timed, computerized assessment tool used to evaluate student's skills in math, reading, and writing for the purpose of placement. North Georgia's Admissions office determines if students are required to take all or selected components of the COMPASS, based on SAT scores and high school College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) requirements. Students not passing the required component(s) will be placed in the appropriate Learning Support Math and/or English class(es). Students should contact an Admissions Officer with questions about why they are required to test (706-864-1800).
