/uploadedImages/Student_Support/Testing/Testing Center Logo.png The Testing Center at North Georgia administers a number of standardized, nationally or state normed tests.

For the convenience of students, the COMPASS, Institutional SAT, CLEP, and DSST (DANTES) are administered. To enable students to satisfy University System-wide graduation requirements, the Testing Center administers the legislative requirement exams in US and GA History and US and GA Constitution. For students planning to attend graduate school, the MAT and GMAT are offered, to assist with the certification of Educators we also offer selected GACE Exams. The Testing Center also administers; eCore, TEAS, Praxis, LSAT and IDL, Click here for more information on selected other tests.

January 2012 North Georgia College opened a new Prometric Test Center (PTC) in the newly renovated Stewart Center on the North Georgia College Campus.

North Georgia College & State University Testing Center Mission Statement

The mission of the Testing Center at North Georgia College & State University (NGCSU) is to provide a professional testing environment for the campus and community that enables test takers to perform at their maximum ability and provide services to assist students and faculty in maintaining North Georgia's goal of academic excellence and leadership.  In order to provide professional standards in testing services that reflect positively on the University, the Testing Center maintains membership with and adheres to guidelines set forth by the National College Testing Association (NCTA).
