The Office of Regional Engagement promotes the collaboration between North Georgia and our larger communities -- Dahlonega, Northeast Georgia, and the world -- for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity. North Georgia College & State University proudly announces its designation by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as a Community Engagement University.

In recognition of our outstanding commitment to education, research, and service through the strength of partnerships, North Georgia was honored with the 2010 Community Engagement Classification.
