Complete these steps first!

1. On the email login page  check the "Sync password" box before logging in.

2. Once logged into your inbox go to the Settings menu, then select the "Forward & POP/IMAP" and turn on IMAP 

3. Your CampusID password must meet our complexity requirements.

iPhone/iPod/ iPad (iOS 4.0+)

1. Open the Settings app and go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars

2. Click Add Account

3. Select the Exchange option

4. Enter your FULL email address in both the Email and Username fields, enter your password. Leave Domain blank

5. Once the option to enter the Server appears enter m.google.com

6. Select what you want to sync (Mail, Contacts, and Calendars)


windowsphone  

Windows 7 Phone  

1. Settings > Emails & Accounts > Add an Account
2. Select Outlook
3. Enter your FULL email address and password
4. Press Sign In > When it fails press "Advanced"
5. Enter your FULL email in the Username field
    Domain leave blank
6. Server = m.google.com
7. Sign in

By default this method will sync your Email, Contacts and Calendar. To turn off any or all click the account and uncheck what you don't want synced.

blackberryphone  

IMPORTANT - As of November 22 2011 Google has discontinued the Gmail email app for Blackberry. Users are advised to use the web site to access their email from a Blackberry device. The announcement from Google is available here

Blackberry Calendar/Contacts sync

1. In the browser go to m.google.com/sync and download/install the Google Sync app
2. The app will install to your "Applications" folder, click it
3. Enter your FULL email address and password
4. Select what you want to Sync (Calendars, Contacts) then save.  


Androidphone  

Google Android OS (2.0+)

    1. Enable IMAP in your Mail settings.
    2. On your phone go to Applications > Settings
    3. Go to Accounts (sometimes labeled Accounts & Sync)
    4. Select Add Account, select "Corporate" (sometime labeled "Google ActiveSync Exchange") as the type
    5. Enter your full email address and password.
    6. In the field called "domain\username" enter \full email address
    7. For Exchange server type m.google.com

    8. Use Secure Connection (SSL) should be checked

    9. Follow the last few prompts to setup email

     

    Your school email should now be accessible from the "Email" app in your Applications folder.
