Lisa Diehl 

Lisa Diehl worked as an insurance professional for over twenty years before switching to pursue her lifelong dream of teaching English and Writing. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University ofLisa Diehl Tampa in 1982 where she majored in English and minored in Writing. In 2009, she received her Masters of Arts degree from Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia in Secondary English. She taught English and Writing at Stephens County High School for two years . She also has taught composition courses at North Georgia Technical College, Lanier Technical College and Gainesville State College. Currently, she teaches Writing at Mountain Education Center High School in Toccoa, Georgia. Ms. Diehl is a published contemporary poet with over twenty of her poems published in numerous publications. When she is not teaching, Ms. Diehl enjoys spending time with her husband Dan, her son, Cory and her daughter-in-law, Tanya. She enjoys riding motorcycles and spoiling her seven parrots.
