Submission Instructions

For any materials you submit that are not your own creation, you MUST have permission from the author/creator/publisher to use the materials in the way you intend. Just because you own a CD, or copied photos from the internet does not give you those permissions. Everything is protected by copyright unless otherwise stated.

E-mail:

You can attach files individually or zip them before attaching to an email. Please send your email, with the project name in the subject line, to:

universityrelations@northgeorgia.edu

Shared Network Drive:

On the campus network, you can place your electronic files on the campus shared drive and let us know by email where they are. We recommend placing your electronic files in the following folder:

G: ->  North Georgia Share -> University Relations -> Your folder with your files

CD:

If you are creating your own CD, be sure to burn and FINALIZE the CD so that it is compatible in other machines. If you are submitting a CD authored by someone else, be sure you have permission to use the materials on the CD in the manner you intend. Owning a CD does not mean you have those permissions.

Please insert a note with the project name and your name in the CD case.

USB:

You can easily drag your files onto a USB drive and either send or bring it to us. If you are leaving your USB drive with us temporarily, we highly recommend you create a text file on your USB with your name and contact information so that we can be sure to return it to you. Name that text file "THIS BELONGS TO" so we can easily find it.

USPS:

If you choose to send materials via the US postal service (if you are not on campus), please be sure to properly support and pad your materials in appropriate packaging, and provide the project name and your name inside the package.
