Music at NGCSU

North Georgia College & State University offers a full range of music classes and performance opportunities for all NGCSU students, regardless of major. A wide variety of choral and instrumental groups are open to the entire student body.

In addition, the music program offers a unique opportunity to pursue a career in music in a program small enough for personalized instruction yet large enough to provide a variety of ensembles and special activities. We offer two distinct degree programs in Music. The larger program, the B.S. in Music Education, is a fully certified program which leads to initial licensing for teaching in Georgia's public schools. The department also offers a highly flexible B.A. degree in Music.

For more information, contact Prof. Andy David, Department Head.
