Just follow these two steps from your work OR home PC (Mac support is
coming soon) to add a desktop shortcut icon for quick, easy, double-click access to your email,
calendar, and documents instantly. If you'll make your Google account
your default email account when prompted, you can even use your new @northgeorgia.edu account by default when you click on email links in a web page (you don't need to make Chrome your default browser).
1) Download & install Google Chrome
2) Download & install the Google Apps Standalone Setup
Once those two applications are installed you will have easy to use icons on your desktop that will take you straight to your email, Calendar or Documents when clicked:
