Applying for the Parent Plus loan is a three step process:
1) Apply for the Parent Plus Loan at www.studentloans.gov . The Parent logs in using the Parent SSN and the PIN he/she used to sign the student's FAFSA. Click on the link that says "Start PLUS Application Process".
2) Sign the Parent Plus Loan Master Promissory Note at www.studentloans.gov .
3) Complete the NGCSU Parent Plus Application and return it to our office. This form will tell us the term and the loan amount you are requesting. If the loan application is denied due to family credit, there is a place on this form to indicate if the student is requesting additional unsubsidized loans.
