Advisory Councils

Business Advisory Council

The Business Advisory Council is composed of business professionals from the Northeast Georgia region.  These successful men and women voluntarily share time, energy and expertise assisting the School in the accomplishment of its educational mission.  Council members meet at least annually with faculty to disseminate critical information used by the School in assessing our operational effectiveness.  As employers of many of our graduates, Council members provide feedback on strengths as well as needs of our students.  They let us know what skills are imperative in their work environments.  The School uses this input to improve the quality of our instruction.

Student Advisory Council

The Student Advisory Council is composed of undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the BBA and MBA programs.  Students on the Council are selected to represent each major; business student organizations; commuter, corp and non-corp residential students; and Dahlonega, Gainesville and Forsyth campuses.  The Council meets with the Dean and other faculty at least once a year to provide input and suggestions for improving programs and services to students.
